I like being the bridge from N to N×X—taking something one person can do and turning it into something an entire team can do. Whether that's building and improving machine learning systems or creating libraries and tools that make my teammates more effective, I find the most value in work that multiplies what a team can accomplish.
My background in both business and computer science also means I'm comfortable moving between technical and business contexts: understanding the implementation details, translating them for stakeholders, and turning ambiguous problems into things a team can solve.
Work
I was a software engineer at PurpleLab specializing in designing, implementing,
and productionizing Natural Language Processing models.
Before that, I was a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at
CVS Health's
subsidiary,
Oak Street Health, supporting critical risk machine learning systems for our
value-based healthcare model. I built all of our team's tool libraries
and CI/CD workflows and a RAG pipeline, which I packaged into a
pip-installable tool for prompt engineers.
I started my career at
Bloomberg LP
where I learned to distribute & run Python packages and build ETL
systems around machine learning models.
